No, wait, come back! This really is a good stuff post!
A few weeks ago, my internet pal The Grand Panjandrum posted this clip at his place and I loved it and threatened to post it in an Open Thread at Ta-Nehisi’s place — and then I didn’t. ‘Cause I’m lame n’ stuff.
But then Ta-Nehisi put up the perfect thread yesterday afternoon, and I posted it, and then fellow TNC commenter D_e_x took me to school about who the guy in the video is and where I might see more of him — and, well, there went an hour or so of my evening.
The dude in question is Jay Smooth, and he hosts a hip-hop video blog called Ill Doctrine. He’s smart, he’s funny, and as with xkcd, I don’t always understand what’s going on, but I find myself grinning even in my befuddlement.
So, first, the “How to tell people they sound racist” video, and then a rant about how, you know what? If you’re politically ignorant? Don’t be arrogant about it.
Awesome sauce!
Go check him out — and don’t miss the “Why I’m Rooting for Sarah Palin” post.

PS I spent a good chunk of today listening to my own music posts. That’s some good stuff, right there!

/ June 17, 2010D’oh! Sorry, the riots were to prevent school de-segregation since Israel’s Supreme Court just decided that religious schools cannot ban Sephardi students.
