Oh dear lord. It has been yet another in what seem to be an endless series of long weeks, and I am tired and frazzled and deeply disheartened. Perhaps we need a little music up in here — a little music with just the right spirit!
Have a beautiful Shabbat (if that’s your deal), and maybe this Labor Day, pour one out for all the labor organizers who have struggled for justice in the workplace all these long years! (And one more for the guy who gave you the day off). And then spare a thought for all those folks — many of them children — around the globe who still don’t have the right to organize.
