Because I’m at my desk anyway, so why not open a new one?

I’m setting up some New Year’s resolutions… http://reformamendment.blogspot.com/2013/01/its-new-year-i-need-resolutions.html
Good luck with it all! I think those are essentially blogger’s/writer’s eternal resolutions. And one always needs luck with them.
A Horde Housekeeping Note:
I cleaned up my blogrolls for the first time in ages (which meant I also visited ALL the Hordian sites for the first time in a long time [sorry…] and dang y’all do some interesting stuff!), fixing/correcting links, deleting some stuff that hasn’t been updated in ages, and so on. If you aren’t on the blogroll and would like to be, please let me know! I do (theoretically) prune links that haven’t been updated in 4-6 weeks, so if you disappear from the blogosphere for awhile but then re-appear, just let me know.
PS Please also let the folks on FB know – if for any reason they want to be linked from here, I’m happy to do it.
My links should still be working, thank you for asking. Happy New Year!
Miss Em’ly, if you’d like to add my site, the link is The Belfry.
My NYR for the blog is just to write some more. Last year was not a great one for blogging.
I should add, I’ve seen big spikes in traffic the times I’ve flogged said blog here and I’d like to thank the folks who have clicked through. Traffic is an awesome motivator to write more.
I wish I could send *really* big traffic your way! : )
Thank you! And any traffic is good traffic. 🙂
Did you have a good time at the theatre, Emily? No rogue Nazis running about, I presume?
Not a one! Though there was an actual downpour during the performance and reprise of the title ditty, so we did get a trifle wet (to the daughter’s delight!).
May this be a lucky ’13.
My son was born on a Friday the 13th, so I am of the opinion that it’s a very lucky number (/day), indeed.
Husband has had the creeping crud for four days, so guess who woke up with a head full of snot and a deep desire to sleep through today?
I suppose if you’re ill on New Year’s Day, the new year can only go up…
YES. This is my theory, on Rosh Hashana as on New Year’s Eve/Day – if it starts bad, that’s just because the year is getting all that out of the way quickly.
(Feel better soon! I wish I could bring you some nice soup).
This crud is miserable. I was wiped out for three days and then hacking up my lungs for two. Hope it passes swiftly and with minimal difficulty.
Ugh. Feel better soon!
I’ve been trying for about 3 hours to write what should be a 500 word blog post for OZ. “Trying,” because pretty much all I have to say about the news item in question is “Yup.”
Why are all shower curtains boring? Trying to find a replacement for my London transit map curtain, and coming up with very few options (though BB&B appears to have one called “Space” that might work).
This belongs here, not below. Sorry.
It isn’t London, but….
I had two picked out on Amazon UK but the shipping ended up being wayyyy too much. So. Off to ebay, where I think I can get one with frogs and one with planets for cheaper.
(secret mission accomplished)
What secret. Ohh. THAT secret. Thanx and Happy New Year to you and yours.
I’m an awful person for completely missing this today! I’m so sorry! But I really was trying to force myself to take the day off from blogging, so I’ve only been on FB and Twitter via iPad all day.
Your sidebar links are always appreciated Emily!
“I’ve only been on FB and Twitter via iPad all day.” It’s kind of an odd brave new world, ain’t it.
(And I would hardly say that counts as awful!)
