“Rape is rape. It is a crime…. The second thing this underscores, though, is this is exactly why you don’t want a bunch of politicians, mostly male, making decisions about women’s health care decisions.” (And, it should be noted: The crowd goes wild!)

And furthermore: “These are not just women’s issues, these are family issues.”

/ October 25, 2012If you’re still undecided, I cannot fathom it, but here is a perfect example of why Barack Obama is a superior choice to Mitt Romney. He is will to give women their due, willing to trust them with their own decisions, willing to support them in every fashion possible. Mitt Romney, to put it plainly, is not. Or, if he is, you’d never know it, because his position has changed so many times on these issues, you’re not sure where he stands.
Again, no one will claim he is a perfect man, but at least Barack Obama believes in people. That should make the choice clear.

/ October 26, 2012Well, no. I am not generally grim. Romney and his acolytes are enough to make anyone a tad tetchy, mind you. Aux les barricades, mes braves.
