Good stuff: “We Found Love” – the a capella version.

Wow. This is awesome. An a capella version of Rhianna’s genuinely great pop hit “We Found Love.

The thought that this is all voices (digitally manipulated in some cases) floors me, and man, that lead vocal is just so rich. (And as a geeky girl who’s very happily married, I also love the glasses and wedding ring).

So I had to turn that off around the 1 minute mark when there was a long, sustained, high-pitched wailing going on. Otherwise, very cool 😉

    • (Have you heard the original? High pitched industrial wailing is kind of a hallmark!)

Oh trust me, I’ve heard the original. The pulsing techno beat in the background is the spoonful of sugar that makes the wailing go down, I think.

        • Ah! Well. I like both the beat and the wailing, but I must say, this is the first I’ve ever head a “pulsing techno beat” described as “a spoonful of sugar”! : )

  2. A nice piece, but a bit of a shame that she decided to respond to some of the negative comments on YouTube. Down that path lies madness.
