Once a little girl, always a little girl.

This is what I wanted to look like and who I wanted to be when I was growing up. Down to the last curl. (Maybe my eyes would have been a little more sea-gray. But yeah. Otherwise).

I’m guessing the kids will want to go see this, but that doesn’t really matter – I’ll be there on June 22, either way.

I like “change your fate” and hope the movie is a joy.
    on a less hopeful note:

Our household is very excited about this movie. Not only is it a Pixar movie with a female lead (about frackin time, guys), it’s a Pixar movie with a female and swashbuckling. Aw, yeah.

The trailers I’ve seen are so, so sweet. It’s an interesting choice to have the heroine’s Father cast as the easygoing and affable guy who is fine with whatever his daughter does, while the Mother is a stern Traditionalist who is just. not. having. any. of. it.

I always wanted to be a red head too. My son’s best friend and partner in crime is a red head and green eyed sprite. He is absolutely adorable and completely mischievous. His mom wanted a kid with curls ( my kid).
