/ February 21, 2013and it made all the difference
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief.
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

/ February 24, 2013That’s a better take on Frost’s poem than what I hear from most teachers. It doesn’t quite get that Frost’s speajer is full of crap when he says he took the road less travelled, but at least it doesn’t look at that road as always being positive, and that’s a good start.
