I cleaned up my blogrolls for the first time in ages (which meant I also visited ALL the Hordian sites for the first time in a long time [sorry...] and dang y’all do some interesting stuff!), fixing/correcting links, deleting some stuff that hasn’t been updated in ages, and so on. If you aren’t on the blogroll and would like to be, please let me know! I do (theoretically) prune links that haven’t been updated in 4-6 weeks, so if you disappear from the blogosphere for awhile but then re-appear, just let me know.
xo
PS Please also let the folks on FB know – if for any reason they want to be linked from here, I’m happy to do it.
I should add, I’ve seen big spikes in traffic the times I’ve flogged said blog here and I’d like to thank the folks who have clicked through. Traffic is an awesome motivator to write more.
Not a one! Though there was an actual downpour during the performance and reprise of the title ditty, so we did get a trifle wet (to the daughter’s delight!).
YES. This is my theory, on Rosh Hashana as on New Year’s Eve/Day – if it starts bad, that’s just because the year is getting all that out of the way quickly.
(Feel better soon! I wish I could bring you some nice soup).
I’ve been trying for about 3 hours to write what should be a 500 word blog post for OZ. “Trying,” because pretty much all I have to say about the news item in question is “Yup.”
Why are all shower curtains boring? Trying to find a replacement for my London transit map curtain, and coming up with very few options (though BB&B appears to have one called “Space” that might work).
I had two picked out on Amazon UK but the shipping ended up being wayyyy too much. So. Off to ebay, where I think I can get one with frogs and one with planets for cheaper.
I’m an awful person for completely missing this today! I’m so sorry! But I really was trying to force myself to take the day off from blogging, so I’ve only been on FB and Twitter via iPad all day.
Your sidebar links are always appreciated Emily!

/ January 1, 2013Good luck with it all! I think those are essentially blogger’s/writer’s eternal resolutions. And one always needs luck with them.

My NYR for the blog is just to write some more. Last year was not a great one for blogging.

/ January 1, 2013My son was born on a Friday the 13th, so I am of the opinion that it’s a very lucky number (/day), indeed.

I suppose if you’re ill on New Year’s Day, the new year can only go up…

/ January 1, 2013“I’ve only been on FB and Twitter via iPad all day.” It’s kind of an odd brave new world, ain’t it.
(And I would hardly say that counts as awful!)
